Capitol Hill Golf Club, is a Public, 54 hole golf facility located in Prattville, Alabama and is part of Alabama's Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The facility has three championship 18 hole golf courses. They are, The Judge, The Senator, and The Legislator.
The Legislator, is a traditional course. It plays in and out of pine trees along a bluff. The view riding down the "Sky Bridge" for six holes laid out in a native cypress swamp will impress as you are led back up the bluff to finish the course at the spectacular clubhouse.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7323 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5414 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 631 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 177 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 603 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 16, a 181 yard par-3.

Great traditional golf course. One of 3 at this site. If you can only play one RTJ site, this is a good one to pick. All 3 courses are great and completely different. Like playing in 3 parts of the country... only thing missing is a desert course...

Nice traditional course and most straight-forward of 3 courses at RTJ Capitol Hill. Beware, there is not a single hole that lends itself to "running" a ball onto the green...all approached must be well struck and must carry some type of obstacle to an elevated green.

Like all the RTJ Golf Trail Courses in Alabama this is a gem, more than reasonably priced, the vistas and views, make the whole experience memorable. The holes are challenging and picturesque, without being over the top or overly difficult.
